1) We started with the rest of the Morningside Heights Tour - home sweet home at the I-House!

2) Grant's Tomb - Brit and Ryan can actually see this from their window!

3)An awesome tour of Union Seminary where Ryan is just finishing up school.
A gorgeous hallway - does it look familiar? Guess what movies it's been in!

I couldn't resist doing a quick photo of Ryan in the school's amazing library.

4) A visit to the world's largest cathedral where they keep peacocks! Who knew!

5) Pre-lunch of the day: street pizza by the slice - wow!
6) Another bookstore stop at Books of Wonder - an amazing children's bookstore. Adam and I each got books that we enjoyed as kids - The Phantom Toll Booth for him and Boxcar Children for me!7) Real lunch of the day - 'wichcraft. It's a great little sandwich place by Top Chef's Tom Collichio.

8) A stroll through booths of wonderful fresh foods and produce at Union Square's Greenmarket.
9) A subway ride to Brooklyn for pre-dinner at Di Fara's - pizzeria style pizza. This precious old man makes every pie himself. Love this shot of Ryan watching him at his work. Pizza 2x in one day - awesome!!!

Our mushroom/pepperoni pizza with fresh sauce and basil leaves - yum!

10) A stroll through Brooklyn to the Manhattan-edge. A few touristy pics for the record . . .

11) Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge - it was a gorgeous night right at sunset!

12) Neighborhood touring in Chinatown & Williamsburg
13) The grand finale dinner at Peter Lugar's steakhouse - the only reservations we could get were 10:45 so it was a fun, late night out!!
Whew - can you believe it all! I can't believe all we did, saw, ate! Amazing! Ryan and Brittany - thanks for being such great hostesses and great friends! We loved seeing your lives there in the city!! We're so excited to see what all UVA and the next few years hold for you!
