I know, I know. Its been practically forever in internet time. Lack of blogging in my life is ususally indicative of one of three things:
1) I'm out of town
2) Life is extremely boring and nothing to blog about.
3) Life is extremely stressful and there's much to blog about but not enough hours in the day.
#3 is the current case. I'll return ASAP. Keep enjoying Mark and Emily's pretty faces until then.

Cunninghammond Extravaganza: Friday Part II
As I mentioned earlier, Mark, Emily and I stopped by the place that they got engaged on that fateful December night for a quick mini-photo shoot. Here are a few of my favorites - how exciting to get to do a shoot just a few hours before the big day. I think that maybe they like each other a little . . .
After the photo shoot, we had a wonderful rehearsal dinner hosted by the Hammonds. Good food, good stories, and a great night celebrating Mark and Emily!

Cunninghammond Extravaganza: Friday Part I
Friday morning we awoke to a lovely bridesmaid's brunch hosted by one of Emily's neighbors. Ryanne recently enlightened me that this custom is un-known to a lot of my west coast friends. So, for those of you who don't know - its just a girl's luncheon (like a shower without gifts) that typically happens the morning of the wedding or the morning before. Here are the Hammond ladies enjoying the morning:
Afterwards, we went and picked up the guys, who were starving, and headed over to the friendly neighborhood Applebee's. And yes, my favorite boy of the trip got to come, too! Samuel!
I'm not really afraid to be a baby hog. I feel like I was polite and offered for other people to hold him, but was not the least bit sad when they refused!
Friday night was the rehearsal. We all went over to Rollins College where the wedding was. I had been there once before but forgot how amazingly beautiful it is!! The chapel looked like it was straight out of Europe. Here's Bible Jim taking in all of the festivities. Gettng ready to give his oldest away!
Mark Long came up from OMPC in the Ham to do the service, which was beautiful! Here's a few favorites from the chapel:

After the rehearsal, I jumped in with the almost-newlyweds as the third wheel and we stopped by the place they got engaged for a few quick shots. That definitely needs its own blog, so you have that to look forward to soon!

Cunninghammond Extravaganza: Thursday
In true Mary blogging form, I know I will be unable to contain all of my stories and photos into one blog from our trip to O-town for Mark and Emily's wedding, so I'll break it down by day for you so you can re-live every glorious detail along side of me.
Day 1: Thursday
After a lengthy day of delayed flights (shocking), we finally arrived late to Orlando where Josh came to pick us up from the airport - thanks Josh! We were anxious to check in to our hotel and head over to the Cunningham's house for a kick-it-all-off BBQ and a girl's shower for Em.
We all love Emily's parents house - its right on the lake and so cozy. Here are "the bride" and "the groom" out on the deck - and yes, we took every opportunity to refer to them as that.
I'd been looking forward to this weekend for so long. Emily is one of my college friends so it was so great for the whole gang to be back together!!

After dinner, we kicked the boys out to have some girl time. Here's Kate cutting the cheese. He. He he. It never gets old.

Whirlwind
The past two weeks have been a whirlwind.
In the past sixteen days, I have:
- traveled on 8 airplanes
- visited 5 states (not including layovers - that puts me at 7 if those count)
- attended one wedding
- attended one funeral
- smiled a lot
- cried a lot
- done 4 photo shoots
- slept in 3 time zones and 5 different beds
- learned that 3 of my friends are pregnant
- spent 16 hours in a 15-passenger van
- missed blogging
I think it's this thing called life. I'll fill you all in as soon as I can.

Celebrating
Today we are celebrating the life of Adam's grandfather, Joe Burnette - an amazing husband, father, grandfather, minister, and man.
I am so thankful that this world is not our home and that he is now at peace in his.

Rockin' the O-town
Adam and I just got home (sans 1 suitcase with our keys in it - thanks for rescuing us, Jonathan!) yesterday afternoon from a fun-filled weekend in Orlando to celebrate the Cunninghammond wedding. Wow - we had such a blast. More details to come, but how could it be any less than awesome when it was filled with plenty of this:
