Ok, confession: they didn't really come just to see us but rather for a conference for Shae and it just happened to be in Dana Point! Yippee! I'll try to keep it a little vague because I don't want to steal the thunder from her blog, but we had all of the usual fun. They were here just as the SoCal weather peaked last weekend and it made the time even more fun!
The Kings came down from the 'Dena and we all had a big slumber party.
Here are some highlights in chronological order:
- Tacos, chips and salsa at La Sirena (Laguna Beach)
- Shopping around Laguna for little boy clothes!
- Walking the boardwalk at Main Beach in Laguna
- Gelato at the really good place in Laguna that I only know how to get there - can't explain it or tell you the name
-Balboa Peninsula
- Lunch at Ruby's at the end of Balboa Pier
-Watching the fisherman and deciding that it would be cheap and fun to catch Adam and I's dinner each week
-Fashion Island
-Sighting of MY CELEB LITTLE SIS!
- Sprinkles!
- Dinner at Salt Creek Grille
- Girl time at the Montage:
- Lunch at The Cottage Restaurant
- Shopping at South Coast Plaza . . . we love maternity Gap! Lauren looked great with the fake belly strapped on. How did I miss the photo of that?
- Playing Celebrity (mainly watching Lauren's face during the charades portion)
- Telling old stories from high school and college - the King twin stories are the best!
- Rock Harbor
- Chipotle!
-Golden Spoon
- Spending time with precious friends!!

Have I ever shared my love for Sprinkles? Probably the most amazing food I have put in my mouth. Andrew brings them to me when he visits and he always has them waiting when I go there. Im pretty much obsessed. I will say Red Velvet, if you havent already tried, is a must! I really just want to quit my job and open Sprinkles everywhere!
The trip looks so fun! Pretty jealous I will admit! =)
How DID you miss Lauren in the preggers belly? That is something I really NEEDED to see.
Since putting on the preggers belly, i have dreamed of being pregnant.
I am so jealous!!! Can't wait for our girl's trip to CA in May!!!!
