Yup! Adam let me pick one box, but of course he will have to hide it from me for the next couple of weeks due to this little thing I call "lack of self-control".
Here's some interesting things that relate:
1) Thin Mints account for 25% of cookie sales.
2) The only kinds I'll eat are Thin Mints and Samoas.
3) Both of these are best when cold or frozen.
4) I also love Edy's Thin Mint Chocolate Ice Cream - oh yum! I first had it at Adam's house in high school and still love it many years later!!
5) My mom was the cookie mom - boo yah.

I am still proud of that performance... let's be honest - we were good. i 2nd your opinions on the thin mints and the samoas although if i had to choose one box, i would go with samoas in a heart beat. actually i chose two boxes and shae chose two boxes... and i need him to hide them, but am not willing to ask him to hide them.
This could be one of my favorite times of the year simply bc of the food. Have you tried the Tagalong ice cream? Simply Amazing. Lo and I split 6 boxes and they are gone in about 6 days. Terrible.
my mom was the cookie mom one year too....all of those cookies were kept at our house for a few days, until they were distribute to the troop....i was a daisy and a brownie for a year or so.
i heart samoas too. have yet to see any girl scouts or cookies up here where i live. sigh.
My life was seriously made when I walked into Kroger Saturday morning and saw the girl scout cookie table set up. I was really proud that I had enough self - control to only buy one box of Thin Mints. However, I don't know if I can call myself self-controlled considering I finished the entire box off by Sunday afternoon by myself! They are little cookies though...I mean you can pop the whole thing in your mouth at once.
Its Cookie Time...OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I seriously can't count how many boxes we have already had this year because everytime I go to the grocery those little girl scout kiddos are there. My fav are Samoas, Mikey likes the Tags and we have 1 common box of Thin Mints in the frige! I still have the thank you note from the girl scout troop that we bought the step sing cookies from....90 boxes in one sale...they were loving us.
this year sigma chi won step sing. It brought up some old anger from andrew about the year we were girl scouts and they were michael jackson. I asked him if it made him feel better that they won it all this year. He said, well yes, but we were still robbed that year. Whatever. I heart thin mints and samoas!!
i actually have never really liked any of the cookies but always feel like i have to get excited b/c everyone else is. there's so much peer pressure when it comes to girl scouts.
