Wed morning update

We just heard news that Jaime's surgery started at about 11am in California. The expectation is for it to last anywhere between 8-16 hours.

All the doctors seem to think it is a benign tumor. However, it is quite large and located very near (actually pushing on) the brain stem. It is quite vascular in nature which will complicate the surgery. A major concern is that since it is blocking the ventricle that drains the fluid from the brain there is much fluid retention in the brain.

Please pray for the doctors, for Josh as he waits the many hours for his wife, and the rest of their families.
