Please pray for my friend

One of the wonderful things that I've seen come through the blogging world is the ability to support and pray for those in crisis so I am blogging to ask you to pray for my friend Jaime.

She and her husband Josh just had their first son a few weeks ago - he was a preemie but has done well considering all of the complications that being born 5 weeks early brings with it. Jaime hasn't quite felt like herself since the ordeal of her emergency C-section and over the weekend they discovered it's due to a large tumor in her brain/spinal cord area.

She's having major brain surgery most likely today. It's so hard to even wrap your head around anything as huge as this. Please pray for the surgeons, doctors, nurses, for Josh and baby Cole and all of their families, and of course, for Jaime as she waits for the surgery in a matter of hours - I can't even imagine how awful that must be.

In church on Sunday we sang that song Jesus, Jesus How I Trust Thee and I was totally gripped by the line: "Oh, for grace to trust You more". That is part of my prayer for Jaime and Josh and for myself - to be given the grace to be able to trust in times like these.

Wow Mary! I'm so glad they found it! I will definitely be praying for them. Please keep me posted. Did they know what kind of tumor it is? Or is this to take it out and biopsy it?
