How true and how pertinent to this time in my life! As some of you may have learned, the Coca-Cola bottling company has recently switched the lids on their 16.9oz and 20oz cans. No data has yet been collected for the 2 and 3 liter bottles.
It's just not the same. Every time I reach for my Diet Coke, it just feels like something is missing. The new lids seem smaller, rounder, weaker.
Maybe the change is for the best but I'm feeling this one deeply.

Haha. I love it! Such a deeply profound quote... and then coke bottle caps. I have yet to use the new bottles. I hope I don't have the same feelings of withdraw.
Mary, this is pretty dramatic. I relaly thought this was going to be a deep blog. I'm not sure I realized your obsession with diet coke was so severe. Thanks for your sweet message. We are all rested up now.
Oh my goodness, I didn't even know about this change! I guess that means I've been doing a better job of not drinking so much coke. Or maybe it means I've been drinking Dr. Pepper instead. Thanks for the info...now I'll be prepared when I open my next bottle.
