I love this quote. A girl said this to my sister once. And no, she wasn't talking about an iPod, she was talking about a baby. As if it's just something you go and pick up at the store.
I do have two new friends who are pregnant - how exciting! No, I'm not so obsessed with our wedding, this is just the only photo I have with a large portion of my friends all together! I'm sure we all know by now that the hot pink B is indicative of being a blogger, and the new Asian baby symbol (in honor of Rebs) is for those who have had or are going to have a baby soon!

Yay for Jinni and Melissa - both should be expecting special deliveries next spring!
Please also pray for my friend Abby who should be getting an arrival this week!

Ok I should have read your explanation a little more carefully b/c in looking at it from left to right I got hung up on the B over Lauren's head and started freaking out that she was pregnant! I seriously jumped up out of my chair and was standing up! Then, I saw the B over Callen's head and I was freaking out. Then, I looked a little closer and noticed the baby heads. They do kind of blend in as bouquets at first glance. I'll be more careful in the future. Haha!
Wow, that's a lot of babies. My friends from high school (you included) and college haven't really started poppin'em out like that yet. Personally, I plan to make it to 30 before picking up my baby at the Apple store. :D
i too didn't read carefully enough and thought everyone with a baby fae on their abdomen was preggers now, but then it dawned on me sooo many of them already have very little ones, so i reread and now stand corrected. is the baby symbol a jolie-pitt baby symbol or just your everyday asian baby? speaking of asian babies. I LOVE WAGAMAMA--although i have only partaked in london. unfortunately no one i have met or known here yet shares my enthusiasm, so i have yet to go there. we pass by it pretty regularly, but there are so many other places people are excited about eating at that wags has been put on the back burner too many times. it is unfortunate and yet true. i am going to change this for myself and now for you, mary. thank you for your interest and concern. i will let you and all bloggers alike know when i have reconciled this situation. my stomach can't wait.
ps. i have been called worse things than "rachel green", so i will take that, but hopefully my blog won't always portray "rachel green" ness forever. i am working on it. i would rather it be less rachel and more lorelai gilmore.
creepy
OMG...I am sandwiched between asian baby heads...I'm freaked out!! Congrats to everyone, especially Jinni and Melissa on the new exciting news!!! Mary, you are always so creative AND entertaining...this post really made me laugh.
i hope my baby is asian.
LOVE IT!!!!! melissa, i hope your baby is asain too!
I'm also positive the creator of Photoshop did not have this picture in mind. :) You crack me up.
ok, given the multiple inquires i have received, i must provide some clarification. although i am very happy for the melissa who IS pregnant, THIS melissa (mary's sister in law)will NOT be having a baby this spring and currently has her hands full with the baby she already has! :)
I was afraid of this. People thinking that all people with Asian babies were pregnant, so I clearly stated "they currently have or are going to have a baby". Come on people, read the blog, don't just look at the pictures (I confess I'm guilty of this when I'm in a hurry)! I guess that paired with the double Melissa thing was too much to handle.
I'm planning to stack Asian babies vertically once people get to multiples, which I don't anticipate from anyone anytime soon!
