If you had asked me off the top of my head, how many pairs of shoes I have, I would probably have guessed .... 15. Maybe 20. I consider myself pretty practical when it comes to footwear so I was sure I couldn't have had more than that.
Ummmm...wrong. 47 is the number of pairs of shoes I found in my closet. 47!!!! Wow. And granted some of them are $5 Old Navy flipflops, shoes from that bridesmaid dress, etc., but still.
I narrowed it down to about 35 that apparently I still can't live without. Am I crazy?

the worst is yet to come - those are not including the winter boots i just put up in the attic :)
